Wayne Riley takes some beating for his on the course comments on golf. Absolute legend. There are one or two things I quite like about Sarah Stirk too. There is just something about her I would like to smash!!!!

James Richardson (AC Jimbo) on the European Football show on BT - was awesome on Football Italia in the 90s and is just as good now.

I always thought Eamonn Andrews was underrated as a sports commentator and I quite liked Kent Walton as well.
Prefered Brian Moore to David Coleman or Kenneth Woolstenholm

In general I'd say almost all sports other than football have excellent commentators & pundits.
Probably partly down to there being less money so the top athletes still need to stay active after retirement.
And there being so much football on TV & radio that pretty much any ex-pro can grab a mic and call themselves an expert.

Agree with everything you say regarding Gary Imlach Dan....prob my fave presenter although good shout on Mike Carlson aswell.

John Barnes for his non frozen robot style and not looking at all like he's reading from an auto queue. It was a shame when they axed him from Channel 5.

Problem with Mike Carlson is he is extremely biased and I find that odd about presenters.
He despises certain teams like the Niners and just slags them off whenever he's commentating on their games.
